Bair Warburton-Brown

Bairton Brown (he/they) is a Chicago-bred artist and administrator based in Los Angeles, CA. Bair graduated from NYU Tisch School of The Arts with an MA  in Arts and Public Policy, as well as a BFA in Directing from The Theatre School at DePaul University. Bairton served as COVID-19 / Health & Safety Supervisor for the first season of The BLACKSiDE, and serves as  a Writer and 1st Assistant Director since Season 3. As a Next-Up Playwriting Fellow, Bair developed the suicide-prevention piece “THE PLAY GROUNDS.” In 2022,  Bair directed the sold-out premiere of HOW DARE YOU at Affirmation Theatre in NYC, and in 2023 he directed the Hollywood Fringe and Denver Fringe Festival productions of “THE PLAY GROUNDS”. As a Community Engagement and Education / Programs Associate, Bair honors the vision of Congo Square through the Industry Training Institute, Internships, and Apprenticeship programs.
