Stanley king

Stanley King is proud to join the Congo Theater and is excited to be part of a project that embraces black culture. Most recently nominated for best supporting actor by Black Theater Alliance and Jeff Award for his work with Invictus Theater as Christian in Ruined. Other work includes Footlik Theater as Tim Allgood in Noises Off and as Melvin and Stockton in the staged reading of The Life and Times Of Tulsa Lovechild: A Road Trip. He took on the role as Tom in Dinner with Friends at Piccolo Theater. Stanley has also dished out street justice to a childhood bully in Bully at the 2015 Chicago Fringe Festival. In addition to acting other passions include scuba diving, yoga, and any activity involving his twin sons. Stanley is most thankful to his wife for supporting his passion for acting which allows him to embrace roles that promote social discourse, dialogue and potential social change through theater.
